Welcome to First Christian Church of Mountain Home. I hope you feel the warmth of our congregation and the joy of fellowship with us. Our focus is on loving each other as Christ has loved us. "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you" (John 15:12). Love for our Lord results in our obedience to His commands and service to each other, to those in our community and the world. "If you love me, you will obey what I command" (John 14:15).

Along with demonstrating love, we strive for unity. "May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me" (John 17:23). Our unity with one another is our testimony that God loves us and that we love Him. Unity does not mean uniformity in our congregation. We do not look alike, sound alike or even think alike. Our members come from many different church backgrounds. Our walk with the Lord is enhanced by sharing our diversity and experiences. We find common ground on the essentials of the faith using the Holy Scriptures as the only authority for our faith.
